CANCÚN, RIVIERA MAYA, QUINTANA ROO; MÉXICO.- Xplor, the most important adventure park in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, recently reached its 2.5 million visitor, making it the most visited zip line attraction in the world, said Armando Ruiz Villalobos, Operations Manager.
The success of Xplor – the adventure park of Experiences Xcaret Group – responds not only to the beauty of its natural landscapes, but also because it has high safety standards, said Ruiz Villalobos, emphasizing the ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Tecnology) certification, an international organization whose mission is to ensure the safety and integrity of those who practise adventure activities in theme parks and entertainment centers.
“Since its first year of operations, in 2009, Xplor innovated the industry of zip lines: We put two horizontal cables instead of just one, as was normally done; We create special platforms that transmit tranquility and security to people of all ages; We place fixed guides in each tower, to maximize the operating times and to make more agile the route of the circuit; We also created an automatic braking system, “said Armando Ruiz.
“Innovation has been a fundamental element of our success, and we will continue on that path,” said the executive, adding that by the end of 2017 Xplor Park will have an additional attraction that will be an event in the history of this Adventure park and will fascinate visitors.
