Quintana Roo, Mexico, April 3rd, 2020.- Last March 30th, Chancellor Marcelo Ebrard, announced that a health emergency is declared due to force majeure to the epidemic generated by the SARS CoV-2 COVID-19 virus. Additionally, he stated several measures, among them: “The immediate suspension of non-essential activities in the public, private, and social sectors.” The announced regulations will apply until April 30th of this year.
Given this measure, we found ourselves obliged to keep our Parks, Tours and Hotel Xcaret México, closed until May 1st, 2020.
At this point, Mexico needs us. It is necessary that each and every one of us do our bit. The only way to overcome the challenges we are facing, is by doing it together, we must be a team.
The goal, to ensure that the people from COVID-19 vulnerable groups that result infected with the disease, might have the possibility of receiving proper care and come through. Let’s make the solidarity which characterizes us as a country evident, leading by example, and demonstrate what we are capable of achieving.
