Aligned with Xcaret’s vision of sustainable tourism and recreation, the event implements practices such as the use of chemical-free sunscreens, the separation of inorganic waste for recycling, and the collection of bicycle inner tubes for repurposing. Furthermore, the use of organic waste for composting, the reduction of printed materials, and the use of biodegradable cleaning products reinforce its environmental commitment.
The event also engages the local community by involving volunteers who promote good environmental practices and sports among the youth. All registration fees go to Flora, Fauna y Cultura de México, A.C., strengthening the bond between sport, community, and conservation.
