Xcaret, Riviera Maya, March 3, 2025. Amid a challenging global landscape, Grupo Xcaret announces the direct hiring of more than 2,200 new employees in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. This marks one of the most significant expansions in the national tourism sector and the most important one in the Riviera Maya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By bringing on highly trained professionals, the Mexican company is not only increasing its workforce by nearly 87% compared to 2019\u2014surpassing 17,000 direct employees\u2014but also reinforcing its role as a leading employer in the tourism sector. This move indirectly impacts over 65,000 families associated with local, regional, and national suppliers. According to INEGI, Quintana Roo ended 2024 with an unemployment rate of 2.8%\u2014one of the lowest in the country\u2014reflecting the region’s current period of remarkable growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

March and April will be the most intensive months of the recruitment process, aimed at bringing in highly qualified talent to contribute to the “evolution” of Hotel Xcaret M\u00e9xico, which is set to open 900 additional rooms this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
