The Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) unveiled the list of companies that it has granted the distinction of Corporate Social Responsibility for 2016. Among those is Experiencias Xcaret, first company in the tourism sector of Mexico committed to social responsibility and first tour company to hold for 15 consecutive years such recognition.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CSR distinction reaffirms Experiencias Xcaret as an example in the field of social responsibility for the tourism sector. Its leadership has encouraged the Cancun-Riviera Maya destination companies to commit themselves to contribute to sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Corporate social responsibility is a business vision that integrates the respect for ethical values, people, community and the environment with company management, regardless of the products or services provided, the sector to which it belongs, its size or nationality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Experiencias Xcaret is a company that takes social responsibility into its essence. It works together with its stakeholders to offer visitors unique experiences inspired by respect for nature, culture and life; and at the same time, extend the benefits of its management to the social and natural area in which it operates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Around 1,300 companies will be recognized in 2016 during the official ceremony of the CSR distinction, which will be held in May 2016, during the Ninth Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies in Mexico City.<\/span><\/p>\n
