Activities: Natural park with an all-inclusive service -consists of unlimited food and drinks- ideal for snorkeling and enjoying water activities in a cove and rivers with the whole family.<\/p>\n

Location: In Riviera Maya, 45 km south of Playa del Carmen and 15 km north of Tulum.<\/p>\n

History<\/h3>\n

Xel-H\u00e1 opened its doors in 1995, receiving from that date an approximate of 650,000 visitors a year.<\/p>\n

The park, also known as the Natural Wonder of Riviera Maya, is located in a landscape framed by rivers, a cove, and jungle trails. The activities here are mainly aquatic, the most famous being snorkeling, due to the wide variety of marine fauna that inhabits its waters. Visitors can also go on bike rides or go zip-lining. Admission also includes unlimited food and drinks at any of its four restaurants.<\/p>\n

As a natural park, Xel-H\u00e1 promotes love and interaction with nature, through special events such as the Melipona Bee ceremonies and the Chacahs Garden; as well as the Xel-H\u00e1 Triathlon, which due to its importance has already been chosen by the Mexican Triathlon Federation as the venue for the National Category Championship.<\/p>\n

Among the recognitions that the Xel-H\u00e1 park has received is the International Certification for Sustainable Tourism EarthCheck Gold, being the first park in the world to obtain this category in 2014, the Socially Responsible Company Distinction, the Certificate of Excellence for Trip Advisor and the Award for Best Business Practices for the Preservation and Conservation of a Threatened Species: the Queen Conch Snail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
