With this evolution, the property will feature 10 themed “Casas,” 18 pools, 5 waterslides, and over 20 dining experiences—all in addition to the already renowned All-Fun Inclusive® concept.
Sustainability serves as the cornerstone of its unique management model, strengthening experience-based tourism by respecting the environment, creating jobs, fostering economic development, and enhancing the country’s tourism offerings.
Xcaret, Riviera Maya, June 28, 2025. With a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event, Grupo Xcaret marks the evolution of Hotel Xcaret México, solidifying a one-of-a-kind family tourism experience. With an investment exceeding $1.07 billion since its original inception, the group remains a benchmark for family-oriented experience tourism in Mexico.
This new phase, representing an investment of $700 million, added 900 rooms to the existing 900, while maintaining the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of its eco-integrative architecture. It also reinforces an appreciation for craftsmanship through artistic pieces that highlight the value of handmade work; every space, detail, and experience is carefully designed and executed by Mexican hands, combining creative talent, technical precision, and a deep respect for national culture.
Since the 2017 opening of Hotel Xcaret México, Grupo Xcaret has revolutionized the market by launching its All-Fun Inclusive® concept, which integrates airport-hotel-airport transportation, luxury accommodation, unlimited access to all its parks and tours, and signature cuisine. “Forty years ago, we began this dream with the idea of showcasing the best of Mexico to the world. Today, I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. They are the ones who bring every project to life and give true meaning to what we do. Seeing our vision continue to grow, evolve, and touch lives is our greatest source of pride. We will continue working to ensure that every corner of Grupo Xcaret remains a tribute to the beauty, culture, and greatness of our country,” noted Architect Miguel Quintana Pali, CEO of Grupo Xcaret.
The evolution of Hotel Xcaret México is driven by a passion for creating unique experiences, combining the talents of hundreds of professionals and Mexican artisans. With an investment of over 100 million pesos in folk art—in the guest rooms alone—each space integrates cutting-edge technology with unique pieces of ceramics, embroidery, woodwork, textiles, and sculpture, making every room a fascinating, one-of-a-kind space.
“The evolution of Hotel Xcaret México represents far more than just an investment; it is the continuation of a long-term business vision rooted in a commitment to generating shared prosperity, caring for the environment, and celebrating Mexico. We are a 100% Mexican company that reinvests, believes in its country, and continues to grow with determination, responsibility, and clear objectives,” stated Architect Marcos Constandse Redko, Vice President of Administration and Finance.
This evolution not only offers guests a unique aesthetic experience but also multiplies the direct economic impact on artisan communities across various regions of Mexico, boosting employment, promoting cultural preservation, and generating shared prosperity. Hotel Xcaret México’s offering is enhanced by the addition of five new “houses” to the existing five. Designed to cater to the various life stages of all guests—from young couples with small children to multigenerational families—these spaces ensure everyone finds an environment suited to their needs. As part of this evolution, travelers of all ages can enjoy a range of attractions and culinary experiences:
(Children aged 0–9):
Includes Luna Teca, a play area for the youngest guests, and XiquitInn, a mini-hotel where children role-play as hoteliers, fostering learning through play.
(Children aged 10–12):
A family rooftop area with water slides, the cinema-themed Xinema restaurant, and Las Maquinitas, an arcade-style bar.
(Teens aged 13–17):
A non-alcoholic bar, Distrito 1317 (an exclusive teen zone), and La Paxanguería, a space for themed parties.
(Multigenerational):
A gathering spot for the whole family featuring new culinary concepts, such as La Xentral restaurant and café, as well as signature dining experiences created by chefs from across Mexico—including Lula Martín del Campo (Mexico City), Gabriela Ruiz (Tabasco), Roberto Solís (Yucatán), Jesús Villarreal (Nuevo León), Mariana Valencia (Michoacán), Luis Arzápalo (Yucatán), and Sheyla Alvarado (Baja California).
Behind this project lies a strategy of continuous improvement and evolution that strengthens Grupo Xcaret’s business model by diversifying its range of experiences, expanding its hotel capacity, and consolidating its position as a benchmark for high-end tourism, thereby generating a direct impact on regional and national economic development.
“This is a long-term project, one that required the patience and dedication typical of handcrafted work. Today, it reaches full fruition thanks to the talent, passion, and creativity of our people. The evolution of Hotel Xcaret México complements its original offering with a concept designed for the families who visit us—a concept that is now coming to life through the energy of our guests. It is a collective achievement that speaks for itself,” added Architect David Quintana Morones, Vice President of Strategy and Development at Grupo Xcaret.
With its eco-integrative architecture, the development respects the original ecosystem, utilizing local materials and construction techniques that foster harmonious coexistence with nature. This model has been recognized by international bodies such as the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and reflects a business approach where profitability goes hand-in-hand with environmental and cultural stewardship, embodying the company’s purpose: “To make the planet happier by sharing our deep love for Mexico.”
